What to expect on your first visit
We may have been around since 1995, but we’re always happy to accept new patients! Here’s what you can expect the first time you visit our office.
Checking in
Our welcoming team at the front desk will be there to help make your first experience at West Wind Dental an easy one. With your cooperation, they will gather your personal information and insurance details, answer any questions you may have, and book future appointments to suit your schedule.
Hygiene
Your first hygiene visit will give us the opportunity to get to know you and your smile history as we develop a customized treatment plan to fit your needs and ultimate smile goals. Because of this, your visit may be a bit longer than usual - but we promise it will be worth it! After a thorough cleaning and polishing, your hygienist will set you up with an effective home care plan to ensure a seamless next visit.
Checkup
Once your cleaning is complete, one of our dentists will join you for a complete examination where they’ll check for cavities, gum disease, and other potential threats to your oral health. Although this may sound intimidating, there’s no need to worry! Our dentists and hygienists create an open environment and will be more than happy to address any of your questions or concerns.
