Dr. Mishael Abdelmalak
Dr. Mishael Abdelmalak, has over 15 years of experience as a dentist. Since the start of his career in 2007, Dr.Mishael has incorporated new techniques into his practice and stays up-to-date on the latest innovations in dental technology. While he dedicates his career to his patients’ preventative dental care and treatment plans, he empowers them in the decision-making process and encourages them to feel in control of their treatment.
Dr. Mishael volunteers his time assisting internationally-trained dentists prepare for National Dental Board Examinations. As family and friends are important elements of his life, he prioritizes spending his time with them. He enjoys fine dining, playing tennis and travelling.
Dr. Sheppard
Dr. Todd Sheppard has been in the game for over 25 years. After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba, Dr. Sheppard returned to Alberta where he opened West Wind Dental – and the rest is history.
Individualized and compassionate patient care remains his top priority. This is also true for his volunteer dentistry work in under-developed countries.
Mark
Director of Engagement
Mark has been part of the West Wind team since 2021. Mark is wired to be in relationships with people. He loves listening to peoples stories and working together to serve others to build strong surrounding communities. He really enjoys time with his wife and his three sons on the golf course or on adventures.
Chantel
Chantel has been with West Wind Dental since 2020. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with family, exploring new destinations through travel, and embracing the outdoors. Whether at work or in life, Chantel values balance, connection, and a positive approach to every challenge.
Melissa
Hi, my name is Melissa! I was born and raised in Calgary. I have been an RDA for 18 years. I have been with West Wind most of my career. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
Laura
Laura is originally from Peterborough Ontario but relocated to Calgary in 2022. She has a wonderful husband, three busy boys, 2 golden retrievers, a cat and a bearded dragon.
She has been practicing dental hygiene for 17 years and has a gentle and caring approach with her patients dental health.
Danielle
Danielle Edgett is a dedicated worker known for her exceptional customer service and warm demeanor. Combining adaptability, teamwork and attention to detail, Danielle delivers personalized care with compassion empathy and understanding.
Kayla
Kayla graduated from Dental Hygiene from University of Alberta in 2012. She is known for being caring and compassionate with her patients. Kayla takes pride in providing excellent dental care, and loves to create a comfortable place for her patients.
When she is not working, she likes to spend her time with her family and furry friends, going camping and enjoying the outdoors.
Kira
Kira likes to spend time with her family and read. She has been with West Wind for the past three years
